Indications and Technique, Meniscus Root Repair

Video 1:  Medial meniscus root tear, with Grade 4 medial condyle.

Video 2: An all-inside loop suture & mattress root repair with adjuvant PRP. This seems more anatomic here than pull-through tibial fixation.

Studies increasingly show that stable, anatomic meniscus root repair, when feasible, slows the degenerative process. Supplemental biologics (PRP; BMC - formerly "stem cell") may aid in healing and recovery.
