BEAR Implant ACL Repair

BEAR ACL repair is another tool (in addition to BMC "stem cell" repair) to address acute tears of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of the knee.
Traditional and time-tested ACL reconstruction using a graft has a long track record and excellent safety profile, but it is now becoming clear that some of these tears, in specific cases (partial tears, proximal tears off the bone, some snow ski injuries) may do as well or better with the repair rather than reconstruction, preserving the native ligament and function, perhaps shortening rehabilitation time.

Indications are still evolving; the younger the patient, the shorter the duration of injury, the better... Come see us to discuss your options -
